Im Lauren and I am a photographer based in Southsea, Portsmouth. I want to make your day special, whether that be for a couple/family shoot or your wedding day. I feel the experience should be fun and the photographs a reminder of the great day you’ve had. As your dedicated wedding photographer, I don't just take pictures; I craft a visual story that beautifully narrates the emotions, joy and love shared on your wedding day.

Natural lights and natural poses are a favourite of mine, feeling relaxed and having a laugh or two brings out smiles you never knew you had. Those are the moments I love to capture. Your wedding day is about celebration, not stress. I strive to make the photography process seamless and enjoyable, blending into the background when needed and stepping in to capture those special moments effortlessly.

Frequently asked questions

Availability

You may see from the availability calendar that only certain weekend dates are available. I work full-time during the week so these are normally blocked off. BUT please do not hesitate to get in contact if your wedding day falls on a blocked out date, as I may be able to accommodate you.

Whats included?

It depends! Whether a half day shoot covering your ceremony or a full day package, every wedding is different. As such, I will work with you during the pre-wedding consultation to cover in as much detail what I can do to make the most of photographing your special day. You can email me or use the contact form below to send us your ideas and get a bespoke quote.

How many photos will I recieve?

I do not like to set a specific amount as every wedding is different! You will however receive as many edited photos that I feel best documents your special day.

Photobooks, Prints and Extras

Through my partner, I am pleased to be able to offer prints, photobooks and other extras in addition to your wedding day shoot! Please see the extras page below for full details.

We can also offer bespoke wedding invitations and printed place settings for the day itself.

Turnaround time

The aim for delivery of your photographs is within 4 weeks of the wedding day unless otherwise stated during the consultation, depending on how many bookings I have at the time. Extras, photobooks and prints also will be supplied within this timeframe.

Deposit and Payment

To reserve a date we will need a twenty percent deposit up front. Full payment will be due any time 30 days prior to your wedding day. Extras, prints and photobooks can be paid post-wedding upon request.

Cancelllation Policy

If in the event you change your plans or wish to cancel, deposits paid are only refundable up to 30 days post reserving your date.

If for any reason I myself have to cancel, due to illness or otherwise, you will of course receive a full refund.

Travel and Expenses

Happy to travel near and far! Depending on location this may mean a small fee for travel expenses or overnight stays. Weddings and events within 30 miles of Portsmouth will not incur any extra fee for travel.

Do you have to feed me?

It is not expected but always appreciated! Wedding shoots are long days with little breaks so a little bit of sustenance never goes amiss!
